Based on 205 reviews We had an excellent experience with American Response Team. After discovering a leak in the our bathroom we contacted ART. Christian and his team did an excellent job of identifying the problem, containing the issue and guiding us through the process. Moises was very helpful with handling insurance related activities and the business side of things. Jesus was awesome as project coordinator overseeing repairs, restoration and communicating with subcontractors. They all were very professional, respectful of our home and responsive to our needs. Great job! Cheryl M. American Response Team (ART) responds quickly and does good quality work. I had a leak in one of my ground floor bathrooms which damaged part of the wall and some of the flooring in a nearby hallway, and ART helped mitigate the water damage and replace the flooring. During the reconstruction process, a couple more leaks/water damage were identified in other parts of the house, along with some plumbing issues, that ART also dealt with quickly and effectively. We did have a misunderstanding regarding the extent of the flooring reconstruction. In my initial conversation with ART, they offered to replace ALL the flooring on my ground floor (so all the new flooring would match), but I declined this offer (knowing that this would cost more + be more disruptive to my tenants). I made clear that ONLY the damaged flooring should be replaced. ART then updated their plan/estimate in agreement with my request. However, at some point during the reconstruction process, a decision was made to replace ALL the flooring on my ground floor, including the undamaged flooring in the family room and kitchen. I was not notified about this change of plans, and only discovered it after all the repairs had been completed. Of course I was frustrated, and contacted the ART contractors to ask why the initial agreement had not been followed. ART explained to me that it is extremely common to replace all the flooring, once the insurance company is involved and sending reimbursement payments....which I understand, but I was still upset that our initial agreement wasn't followed. ART did help negotiate with my insurance company to get additional reimbursement payments sent to me, which I appreciate. However, in this case I would advise A) clearly defining what exactly needs to be replaced/repaired, and B) double-checking that the agreed-upon repair/reconstruction plan is being followed, especially once the insurance company is involved. Ben A. We had American Response Team to fix water damage caused by a leak in the wall. It wasn't a great situation to be going through, but I was happier going through it with them. Everyone I worked with was friendly and cared about getting my house restored. Lupita M. This review is long overdue. We had to call American Response Team at the end of last year for water damage caused by a leak in the wall. It was a stressful situation, but after I filed a claim with the insurance, they handled everything. Everyone on the team was very professional. We first met with Manny, who came back as many times as needed to dry the water-damaged area. The restoration crew, managed efficiently by Arturo, was hardworking and super friendly. Thank you, American Response Team! Claire T. Amazing from start to finish! Initial assessment, communication, customer service...ALL positive. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Shout out to Director of Operations, Jimmy! Melissa G. We've had to call on American Response Team twice now--both times for the same general area in our home. The first time was about 2.5 years ago, and unfortunately, a new leak developed in the same area recently, this time coming from the toilet. Understandably, I was initially concerned that this might have been due to the original installation--perhaps a reused wax ring or something missed. However, I really appreciated how the owner, Will, handled the situation. He took the time to personally speak with me, look up our original file, and even went as far as sending photos from the original job showing that the wax ring installed was indeed brand new. That level of follow-through and transparency was very reassuring. Both times we've used them, their response time and communication have been excellent. They were professional, efficient, and respectful of our home. While I obviously hope I won't need their services again anytime soon, it's a relief to know that if I do, I'll be in good hands. Highly recommend American Response Team for their integrity and customer service. Samuel C. Outstanding and professional company!! highly recommend to anyone looking for water remediation, and the best part is that they also handle repairs . manuel c. July 2024, pipe burst causing water damage to kitchen and 2 bathrooms. American Response Team handled the cleanup and repairs. 9 months later, work is complete. I would like to thank Moises Cibrian, Operations Manager, for coordinating the repairs. Thank you for your help and patience. In particular, however, I commend Arturo Meza, Project Coordinator. When things got dicey due to insurance issues, communication issues, work quality, etc., I could always count on Arturo to answer my calls for help in a matter of minutes. He was always able to resolve issues in a timely manner and keep me informed. Dependable, available, reliable, a true professional. And he kept me sane, seeing me through the entire process. Additionally, I want to thank all of the mitigation folks and vendors for their hard work. Maureen C. Called with a concern of mold from a leak and Tony came out the very next day. He was on time, respectful, professional, knowledgeable, thorough with his inspection, and most importantly he was honest! He was straight up with his findings - which was way better than I anticipated. Jimmy also came out a separate time for another mold concern in our bathroom. He was all the things Tony was and also gave me some really great advice that didn't require me to hire them. It such a breath of fresh air to have quality companies like this still exist where they are there to help and not trying to take advantage of you! If you're in need of (possible) mold assistance, call these guys!! You'll be so glad you did! Jessica D. This review is in response to the business owner's comment from my previous post: Hello William, Thank you for your response. However, I won't be changing my rating because my husband and I don't agree with the things you said. If you think my previous review was incorrect or an attempt to slander your business, sue me. I can show proofs that everything I said was true. Let's break down the discrepancies: You mentioned the wood was out of stock, your team looked for suppliers and settle where to buy it. But we already found a supplier who held the wood for us. In fact, the reason we chose that specific wood was because it was available in stock, within our budgeted cost per sqft, and could have it delivered by Dec 26th. We called your team from the wood store and have them exchange information with the seller, this was done from our phone while we were in the wood store. Your team didn't follow through. We would've chosen another wood if what we choose wasn't available. Also, your team did forget to work in our bathroom. They didn't come back to fix it until we called to make complaint. The floor replacement was already done several days prior to that. The sink has pre-existing condition? It was perfectly fine pre leak for more than 8 years. Your team demo the vanity & left it in our backyard for almost two months. The sink didn't fell apart until your team came along. You mentioned "free of charge" repeatedly. Let's be real, American Response Team received close to 50k from our homeowners insurance claim payout. Your company was well compensated for the work but why are you making it sounds like they are done for free. We, the homeowners, are the one who had to dealt with the hassle and inconveniences when it come to water damage. The damage and repair disturbs our day to day lives for months. We were moving from air bnb to hotels for several weeks due to reconstruction, the change in living arrangements was very challenging for our two young children. Your team could've advised us not to move out of the house yet if they can't start work right away. We only moved out because we were told they would start work right away and could be done within 2-3 weeks. But turned out they just wanted us to sign a contract. After we vacate our house, your team took 5 weeks to complete the job. Our children would've loved to spend Christmas in our own house had we known they won't be doing much work in our house that week anyway. Thank you for the work but please be upfront about what's getting done and when it will get done, there were so many ways things could've been handled better in our situation. Julia M.

Water Damage Remediation
This review covers the two water leaks at my condo during the past 4+ months. The water heater was replaced since I thought that it was leaking. About a week afterwards, I noticed that the carpet was very damp again. My plumber also noticed that the drywall adjacent to the water heater was very damp. He suggested that I call America Response to remediate the water damage caused by a leak from the upstairs condo. Christian from American Response set up fans with a dehumidifier for a four day dry out period. The reconstruction team from American Response removed the damaged drywall and observed the source of the leak from the upstairs water heater. The upstairs owner then presumably had the leaky pipe repaired. The reconstruction team did a fantastic job with the repairs (new drywall with insulation, retexturing with painting, and reassembly of affected cabinets and backsplash). American Response deserves a 5 stars rating in terms of communications and excellent work quality. Unfortunately, the repair didn’t hold, so I had to call American Response to deal with a repeat water damage control recently. They again responded quickly and dried out the walls and carpeting to prevent any growth of mold/pathogens. I highly recommend American Response to deal with any water damage scenarios quickly and professionally so that you can have “peace of mind.” Thank you, American Response Team.

water damage services
Jimmy and Tony came out for 2 separate issues. Both were on time, very knowledgeable, thorough in their inspection, and very honest about their findings. They gave advice about how we could resolve the minor issues ourselves and didn’t require hiring them. This company is truly looking to help people and not just be hired for the money. If you’re looking for a knowledgable company with their honest opinion, call these guys! I’m so glad I did!

Why Temecula Homeowners Choose Our Water Restoration Services
Water restoration Temecula properties require isn’t the same as work in other Southern California cities. Temecula’s inland location creates different humidity patterns than coastal areas. Our master-planned communities often have newer construction with different materials that need specialized drying approaches.
American Response Team brings more than equipment to your water emergency. We bring expertise in water damage restoration specifically for Temecula’s climate and construction styles. Our IICRC-certified technicians understand how Temecula’s hot, dry summers and wet winters affect water damage restoration projects.
We’re also Contractor Connection approved vendors, meaning insurance companies trust our work. When you need water restoration Temecula services, we handle insurance coordination while you focus on your family’s safety and comfort.
Our Complete Water Restoration Process for Temecula Properties
Professional water restoration Temecula homes need follows industry standards set by the IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification). We don’t cut corners because incomplete restoration leads to bigger problems like mold growth and structural damage.
Immediate Emergency Response and Water Extraction
First, we remove all standing water using powerful water extraction equipment. Our truck-mounted extractors can handle thousands of gallons per hour. The faster we remove water, the better chance we have to save your belongings and prevent secondary damage.
We also provide specialized emergency water removal for different categories of water damage. Clean water from burst pipes needs different treatment than contaminated water from sewage backups or storm flooding.
Advanced Structural Drying and Monitoring
After extraction comes the critical drying phase. Water restoration Temecula projects aren’t complete until everything is thoroughly dry. We place industrial dehumidifiers and air movers strategically throughout your home to create optimal drying conditions.
Our technicians use moisture meters and thermal imaging cameras to find hidden water in walls, floors, and ceilings. This scientific approach prevents future problems from trapped moisture that can cause mold growth or structural weakening.
Professional Documentation and Assessment
Every water restoration Temecula project includes detailed documentation for insurance purposes. We photograph all damage and create comprehensive reports that insurance companies accept. This thorough approach helps ensure you receive fair coverage for your losses.
We also identify secondary damage that might not be immediately obvious. Water can compromise electrical systems, damage HVAC equipment, and create perfect conditions for mold growth. Our comprehensive assessment catches these issues early.
Understanding Water Damage in Temecula's Desert Climate
Temecula’s semi-arid climate creates unique challenges for water restoration. While our low humidity helps with drying, it also means residents aren’t used to dealing with water damage. When problems occur, homeowners often don’t know how to respond quickly.
The EPA’s flood cleanup guidelines emphasize taking action within 24-48 hours to prevent mold growth. In Temecula’s climate, this window can be slightly longer, but quick response is still critical for the best outcomes.
Our water restoration Temecula approach accounts for local conditions. We adjust equipment settings based on current weather and humidity levels. We also understand which materials in Temecula homes dry quickly and which need extra attention.
Common Water Damage Causes in Temecula Homes
Understanding what causes water damage helps Temecula homeowners prevent future problems. Here are the most common causes we see:
Aging Infrastructure
Many of Temecula’s master-planned communities are 20+ years old. Original plumbing and appliances are reaching end-of-life and starting to fail. We often handle ceiling water damage repair from hidden pipe leaks.
Seasonal Storm Damage
Temecula’s rainy season can overwhelm drainage systems, especially in areas built on hills. Our storm damage restoration team responds quickly during severe weather events.
HVAC System Failures
Temecula’s extreme temperature swings stress air conditioning systems. When AC units fail, they can leak significant amounts of water, especially units in attics or crawl spaces.
Pool and Spa Equipment
Many Temecula homes have pools and spas. Equipment failures can cause flooding, and pool overflows during storms create water damage issues.
Appliance Malfunctions
Water heaters, washing machines, and dishwashers eventually fail. When they do, they can release hundreds of gallons before homeowners discover the problem.
Neighborhoods and ZIP Codes We Serve in Temecula

Water Restoration and Insurance Claims in Temecula
Dealing with insurance after water damage can be overwhelming. American Response Team handles much of the insurance process for our Temecula customers. We know what documentation insurance companies need and how to present claims for quick approval.
Our detailed property damage documentation meets insurance company standards. We also understand typical insurance payouts for water damage in California, which helps us advocate for fair settlements.
Many Temecula homeowners discover their policies have coverage limitations they didn’t know about. We explain what’s covered and what isn’t, so you understand your options from the beginning of the restoration process.
Preventing Water Damage in Your Temecula Home
The best water restoration Temecula homeowners can invest in is prevention. Simple maintenance steps can prevent most water damage situations:
Regular plumbing inspections are especially important in Temecula’s master-planned communities where many homes were built around the same time with similar plumbing systems. Watch for early signs of water damage behind walls before problems become emergencies.
Maintain your HVAC system properly. Temecula’s extreme temperatures put extra stress on air conditioning equipment. Regular maintenance prevents most water damage from AC failures.
Know your home’s water shutoff locations. Many Temecula homes have main shutoffs near the street and secondary shutoffs near water heaters. Quick action during pipe failures can save thousands in damage.
Immediate Steps After Discovering Water Damage
If you discover water damage in your Temecula home, quick action is essential. Here’s what to do immediately:
Safety first. If there’s any possibility of electrical hazards, don’t enter flooded areas. If you smell gas or see electrical sparks, evacuate immediately and call utilities.
Call American Response Team at (858) 808-1794. We dispatch teams 24/7 throughout Temecula and surrounding areas. The sooner we start water restoration Temecula services, the better your chances of complete recovery.
While waiting for our arrival, document everything with photos for insurance purposes. Don’t dispose of damaged items without photographing them first. Move valuable items to dry areas if it’s safe to do so.
Follow our emergency water damage response protocol for the best outcomes. Quick, proper action makes a huge difference in final restoration costs.
Advanced Technology in Water Restoration
Modern water restoration Temecula homeowners receive from American Response Team uses cutting-edge technology. Our thermal imaging cameras detect moisture hidden behind walls and under flooring. This technology helps us find all water damage, not just what’s visible on the surface.
We use precision moisture meters that provide exact readings of water content in different materials. This scientific approach means we don’t stop the drying process until materials reach proper moisture levels.
Our truck-mounted water extraction equipment is significantly more powerful than portable units. These systems can extract water from deep carpet padding and subflooring that smaller equipment can’t reach effectively.
Mold Prevention During Water Restoration
Water damage and mold problems often go together, especially in areas with any humidity. That’s why every water restoration Temecula project includes mold prevention strategies. We understand the timeline for mold growth after water damage and work to prevent it.
If we discover existing mold during our inspection, we provide complete mold remediation services. Our team holds AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician) certifications specifically for safe mold removal.
We also offer mold inspection services to verify your home is completely safe before we consider any water restoration project finished.
Why FEMA and Industry Standards Matter
Professional water restoration follows guidelines established by FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) for disaster recovery. These standards exist because improper restoration can create bigger problems than the original water damage.
We follow FEMA’s five-step process for flood restoration: air out, move out, tear out, clean out, and dry out. Each step is critical for preventing future problems like mold growth, structural damage, and indoor air quality issues.
